  1. I appreciate your use of contrast without washing out the details in the hay bales. What I find particularly intriguing is how the viewer is able to get a sense of character from each pair of boots, so that the photograph functions as a picture of the boots but also a portrait of the three wearers. Nice work!

  2. I like the way you positioned your image. It really stuck out to me when I was scrolling down the page. The contrast you also used really brings this picture to life. I love the orientation of the bottom image. Good choice.

  3. I really like the quite sense of humor in this photo. It is compositionally interesting, yet it doesn’t take itself too seriously. I have to agree too, that the uses of contrast fits quite well. There is contrast, which makes it feel a bit gritty, but there is still a lot of detail in pattern and texture that makes it feel more elegant. It is an interesting contrast considering it is titled “unladylike”. I think it shows a new definition to what is “ladylike”. I would like to see more.
