  1. Within a series about balloons, this image offers a bit of human interaction with these fun, celebratory objects that might liven up an otherwise flat, inanimate yet brightly colored series. Not only are we, as viewers, left to wonder about the subject’s relationship to both clusters of objects behind and in front of him (is he holding that gathering of ribbons or not?), but we might see ourselves in this scene, too. Are we also surrounded by balloons? Can we join in the fun? The depth of field and symmetrical compositional choices also help to engage the viewer.

  2. I like your composition. The way the strings go across his face, create a nice contrast of colors. The depth of field is done well to focus more on the face of the subject rather than the strings, yet you can still see all composition details.
