My current set of work is still exploring the human body, male and female. Expressing feelings and emotions through the nude figure of the male and female. This time I have decided to take the images in color, to somewhat compare the differences and effects that black and white and color have towards each other.

Part of a series of 4 titled “Sound Reactions”

“My project’s original intent was to photograph a person’s reactions to sounds you’d typically find in every day life. By modifying these sounds slightly in computer software, it became interesting to see a subjects reaction and curiosity as to what it was or watching them try to picture where they might hear the sound in everyday life. This was an installation piece set up in a smaller room (10’x10′) with surround sound played at reasonable level playing the same sounds the subjects in the photograph heard. it was interesting to watch the viewer act in the same manner as the subjects in the photographs did with this piece.”

roughly 4×4 cut outs

This project is a photo as an Object as well as Photo in motion. When the tops are spinning the circle cut out gets caught on the tip which causes the girl to “dance.” Tops can be graceful like some dancers. Both tops as well as dancers will always come to a stop.
