  1. I really like both of these photos. The top one has great composition with all the different lines and shapes. I also really like how the picture is taken through the fence and it’s faded. At first you don’t notice it, but when you do it totally changes the perspective. The bottom picture is taken at a different angle that really works. There is lots of lines that create movement. I can’t decide if I would like to see it zoomed a little so there is not so much floor showing or not. Overall, very nice pictures.

  2. I really like the top photo. I think the line and simple geometric shapes found within the photograph help make it successful. I thought that the fence would bother me as it blocks a clear view, but I think it actually helps make the photo more interesting.

  3. I really enjoy your first image in particular. I love the variety of shapes and details in it. The out of focus fence adds a lot of interest to the photo, giving it a blurred design, but in a way that it is still translucent.

  4. Ditto to what was said above. The first one is very interesting compositionally. The second one is also a very interesting subject matter. I think I would agree about the floor: I feel that either only a bit of the floor should show, or that more should show so that the doors are exactly in the center of the picture. I like how the picture seems to be taken from the floor, or at least lower down. However, the whole photo does not seem to be level. Great use of line, shape, etc, though.

  5. I think both of these photographs are strong in different ways. The first one is strong because of the interest and unique way you used depth of field and because of the balanced but not symmetric composition. The second images is strong because of the lower perspective and lighting used which gives it a more “fly on the wall” object point of view.

  6. I love the use of repetition of shape and line. Both of your images are strong.
Good amount of contrast as well. I enjoy your depth of field as well as the point of view especially in the bottom image. Nice Work!
