  1. Steven, I like how these prints create little narratives that can be interpreted in many ways. To critique I think R2 would look better if he was centered in the frame like it is a portrait. It is already doing this but it is just a little off center and I think it could be stronger. The other one of the man with the gun is very interesting, I wish I saw just a little more of a story, like a glimpse of what may be in the trunk. The prints themselves look good!

  2. I like how these two images tell a short story. That being said, I might have presented the images in reverse order, to give a more humorous, unexpected reaction to the R2 picture. Both pictures have good compositions, but more contrast would be desirable. Both images are a little dull and could portray more emotion if the darks and lights were more pronounced.

  3. The top shot has a very unique quality. The subject is dressed in some very interesting props. I am curious as to whether or not there is a relationship between the two images you uploaded.

  4. R2 is hilarious. But my favorite is the bottom. Shooting from that perspective is very successful in provoking a sense of fear. Good job!

  5. I love the content in the top image and very interesting and makes me want to know more about the photograph. The contrast in the bottom is a little weak and could be stronger but overall great images.

  6. Well I couldn’t NOT say something, being a Star Wars junkie. Love the top shot. It’s all-around fun. Bottom shot, after reading that there is no connection, I still can’t help but think of a movie. I’m not entirely sure which one, but it has a very cinematic feel to it. Regardless, the perspective is interesting and raises many questions. Who the viewer should be, and why exactly they’re in the trunk? Good stuff.
