ART 4500: Advanced Photography
digital prints

The work is part of an experimentation in motion studies, based on the historical work of Eadweard Muybridge. It studies activities that, as artists, we see quite often: wheel throwing, painting, drawing, etc., and breaks down the often either minute or large changes in movement of the body.

  1. These photos are intriguing because you get to see the process of the artwork being created, as well as the interaction between the person and the clay. The fact that it is a series creating a large photograph works very well.
