  1. The decrepit nature of these photographs does good job capturing the essence behind the heroin lifestyle. Every single person that comes into association with the drug falls into decay at some point. One thing I would have tried to do is show a little more of a decaying room, to put more of an emphasis on the daily life rather than just a close up of the wall. But overall, I think you captured the idea of the drug pretty well… almost too well…

  2. when I look at these photos I don’t automatically get the idea of a drug user. I see a lot of texture going on in both. But I really like the use of lighting in the bottom photo, it looks like it glowing blue from the bottom through the foil. That one seems to be working the best for me. nice job.
