  1. There’s a very stark contrast between the poem being read and the images in the video that I think is ineffective. At first I thought the clips going in and out of focus were meant to mirror the confusion/emotion of the story in the poem. But when the smiling girl walking down a snow path was introduced, along with other people in different clips, the video stopped making sense because their connections to the story are unclear. Then I started to question why these locations were chosen, and could not answer those questions either, unfortunately. The video clips themselves are aesthetically pleasing, and the poem reading itself is powerful, but I don’t understand the way in which both were put together.
