There will be a total of 20 images in my final series.

My series is dealing with showing the every day objects, and adding a sort of serene and calming feel to them with the natural light shining on them. This series mainly deals with natural lighting and shadows, and how it reflects/ gives off a different feel for different objects and areas.

  1. I think you accomplish your goal with these photos, especially the TV remote one. These images allow the viewer to draw on their own memories and experiences and the remote image especially does that because everyone has a relaxing experience involving watching TV.

  2. I really enjoy the mason jar photo. I love how you can see the sun rays coming into the corner of the window. Also I like how the straw in the one glass and the drink in the other are both red. It’s very unified.

  3. The lighting in these photos makes them very dramatic and more interesting than if you had photographed them with different lighting

  4. The idea of light is super strong in your second image. Light shining through the jars and the window add that calming feeling you’re working towards. Amazing work so far can’t wait to see more.
