My work focuses on the interaction of children with toys, food, and other objects, as well as activities that bring them joy. I am inspired by their exploration of the environment, which leads them to discover different methods of playing and storytelling. By capturing these moments of interaction, it also allows the viewers to remember their own childhood.

  1. Both of these images are visually stunning. I love the frame/crop of the bottom image: excluding the girl’s face but focusing on her outfit and doll. I think it really works in with the artist statement. Well done!

  2. I like these images. In the bottom photo, my eyes are drawn to the green on the little girl’s hand because of all the pink. That isn’t a bad thing though, it made me look around the image to see if there was anymore green or if it was just in that one spot. It also made me notice more of the marks on the doll, which did take me back to my childhood. Nicely done.

  3. These images scream “nostalgia” to me. I think this would be intensified if the photos were a bit grainy.

  4. The idea behind these photos is very interesting, and using kids in photos is something that always catches my attention. I think these photos would work very well in black and white.
