  1. Both images have amazing contrast and a very strong highlight in the second image around the hand. That specific highlight reads very strong and brings the viewer in more. Also, compositions are very interesting and captivating.

  2. The top photo is the strongest of the two. The contrast in both of these is a bit high but there’s something appealing about it. They both feel kind of unsettling and that adds context to both of these images. For the second image, i wonder what it would look like if the light around the hand was burned down a little bit.

  3. The top photo of the man reminds me a whole lot of my own grandfather, the hat, his relaxed mood while sitting, etc. I think the style of the photo, along with his attitude, go really well hand in hand.
